Cheers to the Troubadour and everyone that made it down last night. Although we played a little late and a few people were headed off soon after we started playing, we had a blast. Hopefully we’ll be back again soon.

We are proud to announce that the first Cool as Folk night will take place on Saturday 1st December 2007 at the Salisbury Hotel, 1 Grand Parade, Green Lanes, London N4. The Salisbury Hotal is a fantastic old Victorian Pub and a quality music venue.

Cool as Folk is a night which showcases up-and-coming new-folk bands and artists in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The night will feature three acts and a DJ to keep the folk vibe flowing.

Music from 9pm until 2am. £4 on the door.

If you’re interested in a night of free music and drinks on Sunday 23rd September, The Godlies (formerly Polite Society) are again performing at the Salisbury - a nice big pub in north London (details below).

We are performing in the early evening until fairly late (times to be confirmed). It is FREE to get in (its a pub!) and will be a nice relaxed vibe.
